On a Random note...

Since I know it's hard waiting, I will try to update you when anything funny or interesting happens at Sweetie Pie Labradoodles :)

Take today for example.....Some people have sheep dogs, well we have a goat dog. His name is Koda. If there is anything happening in goat land (aka: our yard where the goats live) he wants to be right in the middle of it. Loose goat no problem he'll try to wrangle up for you. Milking time? Make sure you give him some squirts too! Tatooing the goats because it's necessary when you register them? Sure, Koda gets himself into that too :

It should wear off eventually.........  :o)

The Heat is on!

Sophie is officially in heat! In about a week we will breed her to Koda, and puppies will be here before you know it! Just in case anyone is wondering why a week later.... dogs are actually ready to breed when they are at the end of their heat, this is when they are ovulating. Ovulation usually takes place between the 7th and 10th day from when the heat starts. Then once bred, gestation is only 63 days! Since Sophie just came into heat, we will most likely be having puppies the first week in May. I'll keep you posted!
